Senior Centers - Daily Lunch Program: Group dining with hot lunch program at 12:00 daily. Monday - Friday by reservation; one-week in advance notice is required for lunch reservations. Suggested donation is $2.50.
Recreation: Exercise programs, recreational activities, educational speakers, day trips and socialization are offered, which are all geared to keep our seniors healthy in mind, body and actively engaged in life. Group activities include: Bingo, Needlecraft, Arts/Crafts, Knit/Crochet, Ceramics, Pinochle Tournaments, Guest Speakers, Dinner/Dance, Field Trips, Blood Pressure Testing and Health Fairs.
Senior Aquatics Program: NWBCC, Inc. offers senior citizens a water aerobics class. The program is free of charge for those who are registered participants at the NWBCC, Inc. The program is held at Pfc. Grabiarz School of Excellence, 225 Lawn Avenue. Contact Fran Lull at 876-8108, ext. 17 for more information.
Senior Computer Class: NWBCC, Inc. offers senior citizens a computer lab. The class has six (6) computers and registration is on a "first come, first served" basis. The program is held at the main facility located at the B.M.H.A. Employment & Training Center, 115 Lawn Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14207.
Transportation: Van Service available by appointment 24 hours in advance for medical appointments (priority), group shopping and to the Senior Center. Appointments must be made 24 hours in advance. Group shopping (Tuesday & Thursday) and transportation to Senior Centers also provided. Service operates Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Contact the Senior Center to schedule a ride at 858-7433. Suggested donation, $2.00 per one-way trip.

Well senior citizens may take advantage of all NWBCC, Inc. has to offer such as a hot meal five days per week and various group activities are available at Northwest Buffalo Community Center. Eligible seniors must be 60 years of age or older to qualify for services and Nutrition Program.
Income eligibility is determined by particular programs, but Well Elderly and Case Management/Case Assistance Programs have NO income eligibility guidelines.
Case Assistance - Provides assistance with applying for benefit programs and services (i.e. HEAP, food stamps, housing and various programs to enhance income. Also helps with completion of various forms, understanding of correspondence and some follow-up casework provided when necessary. Home visits are available.
Case Management - Provides assessment of clients' needs or request through home visits, develops a care plan, coordinates services and monitors client service delivery.
Also offers assistance with applicants and benefit programs such as Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Home care, Food Stamps, HEAP, Meals On Wheels, Weatherization, EPIC and other numerous programs.
