Northwest Buffalo Community Center is proud to be able to offer
Supplemental Educational  Services through our partnership with
Buffalo Public Schools, 21st Century Community Learning Center,
Ciurczak & Company, Huntington Learning Center, and Princeton
Review. Services are offered during after school hours as well as
during school vacations. It is our goal to continue to help our youth
excel academically in every grade and subject.
What Are Supplemental Educational Services?
The term "supplemental educational services” refers to extra help in academic subjects, such as
reading, language arts and mathematics, provided free-of-charge to eligible students. These
services are provided outside the regular school day—before or after school, on weekends or in the
summer.

The Supplemental Educational Services Program is a 3 year grant funded by the
U. S. Department of Education and administered by the Northwest Buffalo Community Center.

This grant provides educational opportunities for advancement and remediation as well as parental
and direct involvement from Buffalo Public Schools Administrators and Teachers. Supplemental
Educational Services operate within:

•  Grabiarz School of Excellence PS 79
•  West Hertel Academy PS 94
