The Roosevelt ECC After-School Program provides
students time to complete daily homework and to receive
additional homework help through classroom instruction
and personalized tutoring. Our program emphasises Math
and English Language Arts (ELA) which supplements and
supports the curriculum at Roosevelt ECC.  We have
certified teachers who run the academic portion of our
program collaboratively with the teaching staff of
Roosevelt ECC.
SOCIAL / RECREATION
In addition to our academic modules our program offers a wide
variety of social and recreational options for our students.

Physical Education - All students participate in physical education at
least once a week.  Our program addresses the development of
those gross and fine motor skills our students will need as they
develop physically. They play games and have a lot of fun.

Computer Lab - All students have the opportunity to work on their
computer skills in our state of the art computer lab.  Through the
cooperation of the principal and staff of Roosevelt ECC, our
students have access to desktop computers in which our students
can complete classroom assignments, participate in "Ticket to
Read" or visit other educational websites that broaden our
students' education.

Ticket to Read -  an interactive software program designed to
enhance the reading skills of students in grade 1 to 4.

Arts & Crafts - All students have the opportunity to create
wonderful arts & crafts projects, color and draw.  Student explore
their creative abilities through fun and exciting activities.

Music/Theater Arts/Life Skills - Aspiring students of film and stage
are exposed to a variety of cultural and artistic genres.  Through
partnerships with other non-profit organizations, students
participate in workshops and seminars specifically designed to
enrich students' personal growth through dance, song and role
play.

Board Games / Puzzles -  We provide our students the ability to
just play either board games or complete puzzles.  Students enjoy
the one on one interaction with their peers and teachers to
cultivate lasting friendships and enhance mental strategy skills and
eye/hand coordination dexterity.
