Northwest Buffalo Center offers one of the largest free Academic Improvement
Program in the City of Buffalo and Erie County.  With over 60-75 youth receiving
homework and tutorial assistance each day by our Academic Coordinator who is
retired Catholic School teacher as well as a host of college and high school students
volunteers from Buffalo State College and Kenmore West High School as well as other
area colleges and high schools; we continue to help our youth excel academically in
every grade and subject.
We also offer computer generated learning as an alternative to one on one tutoring.
This is done with the latest software in our computer learning center which is
maintained through a collaboration with Computer for Children, a computer repair,
training program for youth that not only maintains this area but also teaches our
youth to act as service technicians to assist the staff and other program participants
on a daily bases.
